yesterday in yet another waste of time class in which i felt like i was not learning anything pertinent to my future, i did what any good student does: dick around on the internet and take that time to catch up with my friends. lovey and i had a great, in-depth conversation about Feelings and how difficult it is sometimes to meet good quality men (as opposed to meeting tons and tons of socially awkward ones who have an 80% chance of a douchebag comorbidity, or straight up douchebags, of which there is an astonishing number in nyc) and we have compiled an excellent though non-comprehensive list of places NOT to meet good quality men which i would like to share with all you single ladies. steer clear of the following places:
1) hospitals
2) google's offices
3) gay bars
4) church
4a) esp if they're Korean
5) small group Bible study
5a) if it's a womens group
6) grocery store staff
7) nursing school
8) stanford trivia night at rose & crowne bar
9) health clinics in the south bronx
10) san jose--all of it
11) plentyoffish.com (hearsay)
12) mosques
13) lilith fair
14) volunteering, particularly in homeless shelters in chinatown
